Get Glowing, Healthy Summer Skin tips

Winter has come and gone and summer is almost here! Thank goodness-I am not a fan of the lackluster, dull skin that winter tends to leave me with. Here are a few summer skin care tips that will help you get your complexion in tip-top shape.

  1. Exfoliate!
    Use a bath sponge, wash cloth or body scrub to slough away dead skin cells and get your skin smooth and glowing.
  2. Protect your skin from the sun.
    Wear longer clothes (light fabrics will keep you cool!) and SPF 20 to protect your skin from damaging UV rays. Sunglasses and brimmed hats will give the delicate skin on your face even more protection.
  3. Eat (and drink!) well.
    Drink plenty of water and eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies - a dull complexion can be a sign that you're not getting enough vitamins and nutrients
