Greatcall interview ~ 5Star Responder

What are your favorite ways to communicate with your customers and what do you plan on trying out in the future?
Social media  has been a great way for our customers to stay up to date on the latest GreatCall news and conversely for us to also answer any questions, comments or concerns in a timely manner to ensure they are having the best user experience they can with our products and services.  We love it when our customers interact with our brand by following us on Twitter:!/GreatCallInc  and commenting on our Facebook page:!/greatcall.  
We have many opportunities to communicate more using email as well, and are actively testing way to do this without people feeling we are sending them too much.
But despite the new ways to communicate offered by new digital technologies, our favorite way to communicate is still one-on-one, primarily over the phone.  We pride ourselves in our 100% U.S. based call center and agents that are trained to understand and help our customers with anything they need 

What is the most important lesson you’ve learned about building a brand?
Building a brand is most successful when you have a clear idea of what the consumers’ needs are and you deliver on those needs at every step of the journey. At GreatCall, we know it’s important for our customers to stay connected, safe and healthy.  The GreatCall customer experience reflects this and is what has made us a trusted name and people you can count on.

 What has been the most challenging aspect of starting the brand?
Setting oneself apart from the competition is always a challenge, however, we believe that GreatCall differentiates itself from other wireless services providers through our simplified, personalized and humanized approach, as well as the company's commitment to providing a high quality customer service experience. In fact, our products and services have been widely praised for their ability to deliver the benefits of innovation and technology in a meaningful and easy-to-use format. That can certainly be said for the new 5Star Responder – it’s been designed so that anyone can use it—from a woman walking home late at night who suddenly realizes she’s being followed, to a child who is lost or feels unsafe at school, to an aging adult living alone who’s concerned with a stranger pulling into their driveway. 

Who or what do you look to for your inspiration?
As a very busy, working mother of two young boys, I am always concerned with keeping my sons safe and healthy.   I naturally have an interest in the products and services that can keep me and my family safe and secure -- but they also have to be practical, affordable and easy to use.  I was raised by a single mother who sacrificed so much for us.  Now that she is getting older I’m proud to be building a brand that is committed to providing products and services for keeping her safe, healthy and connected.
